Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced Metallurgical Lab Assistant to perform metallurgical testing and support quality control activities. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with spectrometers, hardness testers, and laboratory testing procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine metallurgical laboratory testing and inspections.
• Operate and maintain spectrometer and hardness testing equipment.
• Prepare and test metal samples as per quality standards.
• Record, analyze, and maintain laboratory test results.
• Support quality control and production teams with test reports.
• Ensure laboratory equipment is calibrated and maintained properly.
• Follow laboratory safety procedures and quality management systems.
• Maintain accurate laboratory documentation and records.

Required Skills

• BE / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• 2 to 3 years of experience in a Metallurgical Laboratory.
• Hands-on experience with Spectrometer and Hardness Tester.
• Knowledge of metallurgical testing procedures and material inspection.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Basic computer knowledge for report preparation and documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
