Role Summary

We are looking for a Fettling Supervisor to oversee fettling operations and ensure the quality of finished cast components. The ideal candidate should have experience in shell moulding, SG & CI casting processes, and quality inspection.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily fettling operations and shop floor activities.
• Ensure proper cleaning, grinding, and finishing of cast components.
• Monitor SG & CI casting quality during the fettling process.
• Inspect finished components using standard measuring instruments.
• Coordinate with production and quality teams to resolve defects.
• Maintain production reports and quality records.
• Ensure adherence to safety procedures and quality standards.
• Drive continuous improvement in fettling productivity and quality.

Required Skills

• BE / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in fettling operations within the casting industry.
• Knowledge of Shell Moulding processes.
• Experience with SG & CI Casting.
• Hands-on experience with quality inspection instruments.
• Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Basic computer knowledge for reporting and documentation.
