Role Summary

We are looking for a Melting Engineer to oversee melting operations, maintain furnace performance, and ensure consistent metal quality in an investment casting manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in furnace operations, quality control, and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain melting furnaces efficiently.
• Ensure proper material preparation and charge composition before melting.
• Monitor metal quality and maintain process parameters.
• Conduct quality checks to ensure molten metal meets required specifications.
• Maintain safe working practices and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Supervise and guide furnace operators and production staff.
• Prepare and maintain production, quality, and melting records.
• Identify process issues and implement corrective actions.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in melting operations.
• Maintain Quality Management System (QMS) documentation.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and EHS standards.

Required Skills

• BE / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in melting operations within the investment casting industry.
• Strong knowledge of furnace operation and maintenance.
• Understanding of metal melting processes and quality control.
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and team supervision abilities.
• Knowledge of QMS documentation and ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and EHS requirements.
