Role Summary

We are looking for a VMC Operator Cum Setter to operate, set up, and monitor CNC/VMC machines in an auto parts manufacturing unit. The candidate should have strong knowledge of machine operations, tooling, and basic quality inspection.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up CNC/VMC machines as per job specifications and process sheets.
• Load and unload tools, fixtures, and workpieces.
• Perform tool offset adjustments and machine parameter settings.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T symbols.
• Operate machines to achieve production targets with required quality.
• Conduct first-piece inspection and ensure dimensional accuracy.
• Monitor cutting tools and replace when required.
• Maintain basic machine cleanliness and report issues.

Required Skills

• Any Graduate qualification.
• 1 to 2 years of experience in CNC/VMC operations.
• Knowledge of CNC/VMC machine setup and operation.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and GD&T.
• Understanding of cutting tools, fixtures, and machining processes.
• Knowledge of measuring instruments and quality inspection methods.
• Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
