Role Summary

We are looking for a Plant Officer to operate, monitor, and maintain STP/ETP plant systems. The candidate should ensure smooth plant operations, maintain process parameters, and support wastewater treatment efficiency as per environmental standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor STP/ETP plant units (screens, aeration tanks, clarifiers, filters, etc.).
• Monitor process parameters such as pH, DO, MLSS, TSS, TDS, COD, and flow rates.
• Ensure continuous and efficient plant operation during shifts.
• Operate and maintain pumps, blowers, valves, dosing systems, and other equipment.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance and minor repairs.
• Identify and report equipment faults or process deviations.
• Collect and test water samples and maintain laboratory records.
• Maintain daily logs, chemical consumption records, and shift reports.
• Ensure plant cleanliness, safety compliance, and proper housekeeping.
• Follow safety procedures and use PPE at all times.
• Coordinate with maintenance and engineering teams for smooth operations.
• Support commissioning, trials, and performance optimization activities.

Required Skills

• BE in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Basic knowledge of STP/ETP plant operations.
• Understanding of pumps, blowers, and process equipment.
• Ability to maintain operational records and reports.
• Awareness of safety and environmental standards.
• Basic knowledge of automation/PLC is an advantage.
• Good observation and problem-solving skills.
