Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced Design Engineer to develop and optimize product designs for the sand casting industry. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in NX Software, engineering drawings, and manufacturing design processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and modify 2D and 3D mechanical designs using NX Software.
• Prepare manufacturing drawings and engineering documentation.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality, and NPD teams during product development.
• Develop Bills of Materials (BOM) and maintain design revisions.
• Ensure designs are optimized for manufacturability and quality.
• Support prototype development and product improvement activities.
• Follow engineering standards and customer specifications.

Required Skills

• DME / BE in Mechanical Engineering.
• 3 to 4 years of experience as a Design Engineer.
• Hands-on experience with NX Software (Mandatory).
• Strong knowledge of engineering drawings and mechanical design principles.
• Understanding of manufacturing and sand casting processes will be an added advantage.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
