Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced Purchase Engineer to manage procurement activities, vendor development, and material planning for manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate should have strong negotiation skills and the ability to ensure timely procurement while maintaining quality and cost efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Source and procure raw materials, components, and consumables.
• Identify, evaluate, and develop new vendors.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
• Prepare Purchase Orders (POs) and track material deliveries.
• Coordinate with Production, Stores, and Accounts departments.
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely procurement of materials.
• Maintain purchase records, vendor databases, and procurement reports.
• Resolve issues related to quality, shortages, and delivery delays.

Required Skills

• Any Graduate qualification.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in Purchase or Procurement within a manufacturing industry.
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
• Knowledge of inventory planning and procurement processes.
• Good communication and coordination abilities.
• Basic computer knowledge and ERP/MS Excel proficiency.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet procurement deadlines.
