Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced Production Engineer to oversee shop floor operations, optimize production processes, and achieve manufacturing targets. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of CNC machining, production planning, and manpower management in a metal components manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily production activities and ensure production targets are achieved.
• Manage shop floor operations and production manpower.
• Optimize machining processes to improve productivity and reduce cycle time.
• Coordinate with quality and maintenance teams to ensure smooth production.
• Monitor tooling, machining parameters, and production efficiency.
• Read engineering drawings and resolve production-related issues.
• Ensure adherence to quality, safety, and production standards.
• Prepare production reports and support continuous process improvement.

Required Skills

• Diploma / BE in Mechanical Engineering.
• 5 to 7 years of experience in production engineering.
• Strong knowledge of SS, MS, Aluminum, Copper, and Brass machining.
• Experience with CNC machines using Siemens and Fanuc controllers.
• Good understanding of tooling, machining processes, and process parameters.
• Experience in manpower handling and shop floor management.
• Knowledge of VMC machining will be an added advantage.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and troubleshoot production issues.
