Key Responsibilities:

Develop CNC programs for turning, milling, and VMC machines using CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, SolidCAM, NX, etc.).
Optimize tool paths, cutting parameters, and machining cycles for efficiency and quality.
Set up and prove out new programs on CNC machines.
Maintain and update program documentation and tool lists.
Plan and schedule machining operations as per production requirements.
Supervise CNC operators and ensure proper utilization of manpower and machines.
Monitor production output, downtime, and tool life to maintain productivity.
Ensure preventive maintenance and machine health checks are performed regularly.
Coordinate with the Quality department for first-off and in-process inspections.
Analyze machining issues and implement corrective actions.
Work on continuous improvement, cost reduction, and waste minimization initiatives.
Train and mentor CNC operators and setters.
Ensure adherence to safety protocols and standard operating procedures.
Liaise with planning, maintenance, and quality teams for smooth production flow.
