Key Responsibilities:

Create, edit, and optimize CNC programs for VMC and HMC machines using CAM software (Mastercam, SolidCAM, NX, or similar).
Read and interpret 2D & 3D engineering drawings, CAD models, and GD&T specifications.
Plan machining operations, select tools, and determine cutting parameters for various materials.
Perform program prove-out and first-piece validation on machines.
Optimize cycle time, tool paths, and machining strategies to improve productivity.
Coordinate with CNC Operators/Setters during setup and production runs.
Troubleshoot machining, tooling, or programming issues as they arise.
Maintain an organized database of CNC programs, setup sheets, and tooling lists.
Work closely with production, design, and quality teams to ensure part accuracy and process efficiency.
Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards in all machining activities.
