Key Responsibilities:

Operate manual or CNC lathe machines as per job orders and drawings.
Set up workpieces, cutting tools, and machine parameters for production.
Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and process sheets.
Perform turning, facing, threading, boring, and drilling operations.
Monitor machining operations and ensure finished parts meet dimensional accuracy.
Inspect components using precision measuring instruments (Vernier, Micrometer, Dial Gauge, etc.).
Maintain proper records of production and inspection reports.
Perform routine maintenance and keep machines in good working condition.
Follow all safety, quality, and housekeeping standards in the workplace.
Coordinate with supervisors, setters, and quality inspectors to resolve issues.
