Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and develop CNC programs for VMC machines using CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, SolidCAM, Fusion 360, etc.).
Read and interpret engineering drawings, models, and job orders.
Select appropriate tools, fixtures, and cutting parameters for each job.
Set up and prove-out programs on VMC machines before production.
Optimize machining parameters to improve efficiency and reduce cycle time.
Perform trial runs, first-piece inspections, and make necessary program adjustments.
Troubleshoot programming and machining issues.
Coordinate with production and quality teams to ensure components meet required tolerances.
Maintain tool inventory and machine maintenance records.
Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and production standards.
