Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop tooling (dies, molds, jigs, fixtures, gauges, etc.) based on product and process requirements.
Review engineering drawings and specifications to determine tooling requirements.
Coordinate with product design, production, and quality teams to ensure compatibility and manufacturability.
Supervise the fabrication, assembly, and testing of new tooling.
Troubleshoot and resolve tooling-related issues during production.
Plan and execute preventive maintenance of tools and dies to ensure long tool life and consistent quality.
Continuously improve tooling designs for better efficiency, reduced cost, and faster setup.
Maintain records of tooling drawings, maintenance, and calibration schedules.
Support new product development (NPD) and process validation activities.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and quality management systems (ISO/TS/IATF as applicable).
