Key Responsibilities:

Supervise day-to-day production activities to meet output, quality, and safety targets.
Allocate manpower and resources efficiently for optimal productivity.
Ensure that products are manufactured on time and in compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Monitor machine performance and coordinate with the maintenance team for breakdowns.
Maintain shift-wise production records, reports, and documentation.
Ensure adherence to safety norms, quality standards, and 5S housekeeping practices.
Provide on-the-job training and guidance to shop floor operators.
Conduct root cause analysis for production issues and implement corrective actions.
Liaise with other departments such as Quality, Stores, and Planning for smooth workflow.
Participate in continuous improvement activities like Kaizen, Lean, and TPM.
