Key Responsibilities:
 

Manage and oversee full-cycle sea freight import and export operations.
Develop relationships with ocean carriers, NVOCCs, shipping lines, and customs brokers.
Negotiate contracts and freight rates to optimize cost and service levels.
Ensure timely booking, shipping, and delivery of sea freight consignments.
Monitor and improve KPIs including on-time delivery, cost per shipment, and shipment accuracy.
Ensure compliance with international trade laws, customs regulations, and company policies.
Oversee documentation (Bill of Lading, packing lists, invoices, etc.) and resolve discrepancies.
Collaborate with internal teams (sales, warehouse, finance) and external partners.
Lead and train sea freight team members to improve performance and service quality.
Handle escalations and resolve issues related to delays, damage, or losses.
Stay updated on market trends, route optimization, and global freight regulations.
